DRAS Convention 2022 - Auctions
Down Under in the Great White North will be featuring two auctions over the course of the event.
The DRAS 2022 Convention Auction will be held on Sunday, September 25th, 2022. Following in the tradition established by the over 30 years of DRAS auctions, the DRAS 2022 Convention Auction will be a highlight of 2022. Convention attendees, members of DRAS, hobbyists from across the Durham Region, and other hobbyists from across Canada open up their fish rooms, bringing rare, exotic and healthy specimens to sell, allowing the dissemination of these special items into the greater hobby.
It is a fish, aquatic animal, aquatic plants, and new and used dry goods auction. The split is 70/30 (the seller receives 70% of the final selling price and DRAS retains 30%). Please refer to the Auction Rules below for specifics.

Banquet Specialty Auction
The Banquet Specialty Auction will be held on Saturday, September 24th, 2022, immediately following Hans-Georg Evers presentation. It will feature rare, ultra-rare, and newly discovered species of rainbowfish and blue-eyes that have been provided by those who discovered them. This will be the first time many of these species are offered for sale in Canada and North America. If you are interested in unique and hard to come by species of rainbowfish and blue-eyes, this is the auction of the year for you!
Given time constraints, the only items to be presented at the Down Under in the Great White North Specialty Auction will be provided by several individuals who DRAS knows to have stock and items of great rarity, and of utmost quality. The slate of items to be presented is now final, but anyone may enter items in the Convention General Auction on Sunday, September 25th, 2022
Admission to this auction will be restricted to those who hold banquet tickets and those who have purchased the “Specialty Auction Admission (without Banquet)” option.
